Nicole BlumNicole Blum graduated in December of 2011 with a B.A. in Journalism and a concentration in broadcasting. During her last semester she worked as a reporter for MicroMemphis, an anchor/reporter/producer for Insight News and interned at WMC-TV 5. She took a job after graduation at Lipscomb & Pitts, where she works in media relations and online business development. Check out her online portfolio.
Alexandra FanninI am a senior at the University of Memphis majoring in broadcast journalism. My plan is to become a traveling reporter/producer and eventually end up in Colorado.
I will graduate in the summer of 2012. Check out my online portfolio! Brittney JonesBrittney Jones is a senior journalism major with a concentration in broadcast news. Her expected graduation is in May 2012!!! Her goal is to become a successful news anchor in a larger market, such as Dallas, where she once lived. She would love to host her own television show in the future, just as one of her role models, Oprah Winfrey did. Brittney likes to travel, sing, and meet important people. Her words of encouragement to future journalists is: "Always believe in yourself. The future is limitless!"

Chris FreitasLeslie JenningsLeslie Jennings is a senior Broadcast Journalism student at the University of Memphis. With goals of becoming a reporter and a producer, she is utilizing every opportunity to gain the knowledge and the skills to succeed. She has worked as a news reporter, producer, and editor for Insight News. She also has gained experience in Final Cut Pro and News King. Leslie plans on advancing in the broadcast journalism field after graduation May 2012.

When she graduates in May she plans on furthering her career in the news and media industry. Working with the student produced Insight News this semester has allowed her to grow in all areas of her concentration. She experienced producing, camera work, and tape operation among others. Tiffany NeelyTiffany Neely is an ambitious video journalist who's love of this industry pushes her to better herself everyday. She is skilled in video photography, still photography, editing (Final Cut Pro and Edius), news writing (News King), and other news programs (Oasis and ENPS). She has experience as a reporter, anchor, and producer for InSight News. She's also an intern at WMC-TV Action News 5.

Brett MartinBrett Martin is a newly experienced multimedia journalist, who is using each stepping stone to reach his ultimate goal as a primetime reporter. He has gained skills as a video journalist, editing skills with Final Cut Pro and writing skills with News King with InSight News. Also, he earned valuable experience as an anchor, producer, and reporter. Brett has spent over a year with WREG News Channel 3. Also, he is one of the voices of the WUMR U92 Sports Desk Morning Show and Game Day Broadcaster for the University of Memphis. He will take on the next stage of his career following his graduation in May of 2012.

Raven PhillipsRaven Phillips is currently a senior at the University of Memphis, who is striving to become a phenomenal broadcast news journalist. While learning new things everyday, Raven hopes that the skills such as editing and being a video journalist, training, and knowledge about the Journalism field she has acquired, will help her reach her goals. Her goal is to become an anchor (News or Entertainment). Raven is currently a radio personality for AM 1480 WBBP on the weekend, and a reporter, anchor, and producer for Insight News. Raven will begin a new journey in her life as an intern at WREG News Channel 3 in the Spring. She will graduate May 2012.

Ben RainwaterBen Rainwater is a senior broadcast journalism major at the University of Memphis. His ultimate goal is to be a sports broadcaster, either through television or radio. He is currently the Sports Director for the U of M campus radio station, WUMR. Ben served as a sports intern for WREG News Channel 3 in the fall of 2011, and will return for a second go-round in the spring.. Through his classes, jobs, and internships, he has become a much more competent broadcaster. He has gained experience as an on-air radio personality, a play-by-play broadcaster, an anchor, a reporter, and as a producer to name a few. Ben will graduate in May 2012. Raph SmallRaph Small is currently a senior at the University of Memphis, majoring in Broadcast News. He will be receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spring 2012. Raph's passion for community involvement, and writing was the perfect match when he decided to take on journalism. Raph will be interning this spring with WREG news channel 3. His plans after graduation are to become a news reporter, and free lance writer in hopes of becoming a news anchor and producer.

Latresia SuttonLatresia Sutton is currently a senior at the University of Memphis. She will be receiving her Bachelor's of Art Degree in Broadcasting/Journalism. Latresia chose this major because of the passion and desire of informing the public of news that could be help to their everyday lives. During the fall semester of 2011, she began her journey as an anchor, reporter, and producer for Insight News. She will be graduating in the Spring of 2013 and will continue her education in Journalism, while pursing her Master's degree.

Jasmine VannJasmine Vann is a senior, broadcast journalism major, at the University of Memphis.
The NABJ member worked as an anchor, producer, and reporter for Insight News and interned for Fox 13 News. She also hosts and produces "The Conversation" a show highlighting people & events in the Mid-South. Vann's work has been featured in The Commercial Appeal and she has also assisted at NBC affiliate WMC-TV (Action News 5). In addition to her accomplishments in broadcast she is a news and sports reporter for the independent U of M student newspaper The Daily Helmsman and is a content editor for the news aggregation site Mid-South Briefs.
