Joshua BoldenJoshua Bolden is a senior continuing his broadcast journalism education at the University of Memphis. He is a news anchor for WBBP Radio, personality for WUMR and host of the "Jazz Top Ten." Bolden is the vice president of National Association of Black Journalists-Memphis where he produces the online talk show, The Conversation, a show highlighting positive things in the Mid-South. Bolden is about getting to both sides of the issue and aims to take his viewers or readers to the root of every story. In addition to broadcasting, he is pursing his minor in Spanish.

BreAnna BoydBreAnna Paige Boyd is a senior Broadcast Journalism and International Business student at the University of Memphis. She is an aspiring News Reporter and Anchor with hopes of one day also becoming a #1 New York Times Best-selling author for her books on

Kathy BrowerKathy Brower will graduate with a broadcast journalism degree from the University of Memphis in May 2013. She will intern at WMC TV Action News 5 in Spring 2013. She currently works as a tour guide for the U of M and volunteers with the Memphis Tiger Network providing highlights, voice-overs, and interviews. Kathy's ultimate goal is to become a morning news anchor that focuses on connecting with the community.

Jessica ChaversJessica Chavers is a senior broadcast student that will be graduating December 2013. She currently is the News Director at WUMR. In addition to her work at the radio station, she is the founder of MentorMe a mobile mentoring program for the youth of Memphis. The National Association of Black Journalists member is a correspondent to the video-newsmagazine The Conversation. She has interviewed individuals from the likes of politicians to national newsmakers. She will be interning at ABC24/WPTY-TV in the spring of 2013.

Sheila Guerrero Sheila Guerrero is broadcast news graduate from the University of Memphis. She was the vice president of Society of Professional Journalists and promotions coordinator for National Association of Black Journalists while attending the U of M. She attended Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany, traveled to Paris, France and also completed her minor in Spanish while studying at the University of Costa Rica in San Jose, Costa Rica.
She worked for CNN Headline News at the Democratic National Convention and interned at WHBQ-TV Fox13 and WMC-TV5. Currently she works at WMC-TV5 as a news content specialist and editor in Memphis, Tennessee while she prepares to become a reporter. Christian D. HudsonChristian Hudson is a Junior Broadcast Journalism Major with a Minor in Theater Arts. His Insight News involvement has given him more passion for his major and HE soon wishes to intern at ESPN. Declaring his minor in Theater Arts was a big step for him but he knew with his deep passion for performance the journey would be challenging and beneficial. The minor would also help him venture out more into some of his other talents. Christian's campus involvement consists of a Chairman for NAACP, Student Activity Counsel(SAC), Black Student Association(BSA), and TRiO student support service. As a leader on the University of Memphis campus he hopes one day to be a leader in the real world whether it is a role model on TV or getting involved in the community.

Raven McClainRaven McClain is a senior broadcasting major at the University of Memphis.
She has a passion for finding the truth and wants to be able to share the stories of people from different backgrounds all across the world. Grant MilnerGrant Milner is a senior at the University Memphis majoring in broadcast-news. He is the Sports Director at WUMR, the campus radio station. He does play by play for Memphis football and basketball home games, and hosts a 30 minute show 3 times a week about sports.
Grant is interning this school year at WREG News Channel 3 in the sports department with Glenn Carver. Throughout all of this, he plays on the golf at the school. The Tigers won a conference championship for the first time in C-USA in 2012 and also made it the NCAA Finals for the second time in school history. Check out his website here. |
Caray OldhamCaray Grace Oldham will graduate in May 2013 from the University of Memphis with a major in Broadcast News and a minor in Spanish language. Caray has been with AM 1480 WBBP since January 2011 as a show host and sports reporter. She is also a sports reporter for the Memphis Tiger Network where she does sideline reporting and voices over game highlights. Catherine Patton Catherine Patton is a senior Broadcast News Journalism major at the University of Memphis. She will be graduating in May of 2013.
Although she has enjoyed being an anchor, reporter, and producer for Insight News, the school's weekly student-run news cast, she has found that she also enjoys to work behind the camera. For this reason, She will be interning at Running Pony Productions in January of 2013, Catherine hopes to use the skills she has obtained to blossom as a multimedia professional. Dana PorterDana Porter is a journalism and communications major at the University of Memphis with a primary focus on broadcast news and film/video productions.

Greg Williams
Greg Williams is a senior, broadcast news major and will graduate from the University of Memphis in May 2013. He is currently a sports analyst for U92FM WUMR and provides play by play and color commentary for the Memphis Tigers football and basketball games. Williams also has a recurring role on The U92 Sports Desk on Monday and Friday mornings as a sports analyst.
